Lifesavers

Rescuers   Rhinos   Giraffe   Camel

I am in awe of the work of the RNLI and  HM Coastguard, lifesavers both.  While we are used to seeing the lifeguards flags and rescue gear on the beaches in summer, hard work to raise funds to keep the organisation afloat is done throughout the year. At the weekend I attended a sponsored fun run around Knowsley Safari Park in northwest England. Around 800 RNLI supporters took part. The route around the beautiful landscaped grounds of the safari park provided a glimpse of giraffe and elephant and after the race runners were invited to see more. Here are snaps taken on my phone camera.
