Doe, a deer!

 

A chance encounter with a curious doe near the shore of Loch Awe.  The black nose and white chin patch are the clear markings of roe deer, smaller than the red deer, which is Britain’s largest mammal.

Despite warning signs on woodland paths and gates ‘Danger Stags Keep Out’ only the gentle doe declared herself.
